Rondo Engineers design in accordance with the current New Zealand Standards with all loading codes (AS/NZS 1170 series, including AS 1170.4), design codes (AS/NZS4600) as well as NZS 117.5.

As we know, having good Seismic Design is important in New Zealand.
With that in mind, Rondo offers three solutions to build efficiency and adhere to design criteria and code requirements.
- Rondo Seismic Design Wizards
Our wizards will provide you with the design details and nominated seismic loads for the Rondo KEY-LOCK ® Concealed Suspended Ceiling System and DONN® Exposed Grid Ceiling System, available 24 hours a day through the Rondo website.
- Preliminary Design
Free in-house design service by our Engineering team, for all projects when Rondo projects and systems are specified. This service covers materials to be used, installation details, wind pressure, seismic capability and weight limits.
Please allow 10-15 working days for completion.
- Fully certified PS1-PS4
A fully certified PS1-PS4 design by an independent, external New Zealand Registered Engineer can be arranged on request.
Cost is based on design complexity, insurance and subsequently time required to complete the design and typically takes at least five to ten working days to complete.
